The Juneteenth Institute (Baltimore, 2026)

16-17 June 2026

Black Imagination, Care, and Cultural Practice

ABOUT

The Juneteenth Institute is a two-day cultural platform exploring Black imagination, care, and contemporary cultural practice.

Developed by BlackImagination.art in collaboration with Visual Dynamics Labs (VDL), the Institute combines a private research lab with a public forum, creating space for both in-depth exchange and public engagement.

The program brings together artists, curators, and cultural workers to connect local practice in Baltimore with broader conversations in art, visual culture, and global contemporary discourse.
